About the Faculty of
Aviation
The Faculty of Aviation is esteemed for producing some of the finest
professionals in the sky. Our illustrious history and alumni successes bear
testimony to our dedication to aviation education excellence. With a
sprawling campus and an impressive lineup of experienced instructors, we
not only impart knowledge but also inspire innovation and leadership in the
field.
Our faculty integrates hands-on experience with rigorous academic training
to prepare students for the challenges of aviation. Beyond the classroom, we
encourage participation in various extracurricular activities, symposiums, and
national competitions, fostering a well-rounded education that extends
beyond the controls of an aircraft.
Programs offered in Pilot Training
Our pilot training programs are comprehensive, incorporating both ground school theoretical knowledge as
well as extensive flight training. Beginners can enroll in our Private Pilot License (PPL) program, which
serves as a stepping stone for all aspiring pilots. For those looking to make flying their career, our
Commercial Pilot License (CPL) program is the natural progression after the PPL.
In addition to these, we offer an Instrument Rating (IR) course, a Multi-Engine Rating, and the Airline
Transport Pilot License (ATPL) theory, allowing our students to obtain the most advanced qualifications in
the field. Each program is carefully structured to meet and exceed regulatory authority requirements,
ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the aviation industry.
Requirements for Pilot Training
Prospective pilot trainees must meet a set of requirements to ensure they are ready for the rigors of flight
training. Applicants should be at least 17 years old, have completed secondary education, and demonstrate
proficiency in English – both written and spoken. A Class 1 Medical Certificate is also mandatory, ensuring
that candidates meet the health and fitness standards necessary for flying.
Potential pilots also need to exhibit strong mathematical and physics skills as these are crucial in
understanding flight mechanics and navigation. Along with academic and health prerequisites, aspirants
must show a deep passion for aviation and the resilience to undergo rigorous training.
Curriculum and Training Facilities
Our curriculum is meticulously crafted to cover all theoretical and practical aspects of flying. Core subjects
include Aerodynamics, Meteorology, Navigation, Flight Planning, and Air Law, all taught by experts in each
field. Our training facilities are second to none, with modern classrooms, flight simulators, and a wellmaintained fleet of training aircraft.
Our state-of-the-art flight simulators provide an immersive experience that mirrors real-world flying
conditions, allowing students to practice maneuvers and procedures in a controlled environment before
stepping into an actual aircraft. This blend of cutting-edge technology and hands-on aircraft flying ensures
our students are thoroughly prepared for their aviation careers.
